How the six-guess board works
Every submitted word turns the board into evidence. Green letters should normally stay fixed. Yellow letters must be reused somewhere else, while their previous positions become unavailable. Incorrect letters should usually disappear from the next guess unless duplicate-letter feedback gives a specific reason to reconsider them.
The strongest habit is to translate the board into constraints before typing again: which positions are fixed, which letters are required, where those letters cannot go and which characters have been ruled out. Once you start reading the board this way, the puzzle becomes a narrowing search rather than a stream of random guesses.

Guest play remains the fastest way to begin. Guest statistics can stay local to that browser, which is useful for casual play but means they are not treated as global public records.

Choose a difficulty that matches the kind of puzzle you want
Kids mode uses four-letter answers so younger players can focus on spelling and position logic without carrying a five-letter pattern at the same time. Default is the most accessible five-letter mode for general play, while Advanced and Expert move toward less obvious vocabulary and more demanding patterns.
Difficulty is not just a cosmetic label. Different answer banks create different types of decisions, which is why score comparisons are most meaningful inside the same level. A clean ten-point solve in Kids and a clean ten-point solve in Expert represent different vocabulary challenges.

Use the clue when it changes the decision, not simply because it is available
Wurdella offers one clue during the early rows of a round. The clue carries a scoring cost, so it works best when meaning-based information can genuinely reduce several plausible answers to one or two useful candidates.
Before using it, read the board once more. If four letters are already fixed and only one familiar answer fits, the clue probably buys very little. If the word family is unfamiliar and several candidates still obey every tile, the clue may be worth more than the points it costs.
Play with friends on one device or separate devices
Same-room multiplayer is designed for people sharing one browser session, with player names, turn order and match targets visible in the interface. Team mode lets two groups discuss the board and compete toward a chosen number of round wins.
